The walking treasure hunt is a fantastic all-day team event of approximately 6 miles of walking and clue hunting with a pub lunch.
The Ninth walking treasure hunt for Church members, families and friends is based around Mickleham and will start from the Norbury Park, Fetcham Car Park. View car park on Map
The lunchtime stop is The King William IV pub at Mickleham. The pub is running a BBQ in their picturesque garden and there is covered seating available in the event of the odd bank holiday shower! – you can just turn up and pay as you order. (There is a vegetarian option available)
You will be provided with route instructions, written clues, photographic clues and an approximate map to guide you on your way. You will need to bring a writing implement and reasonably stout walking shoes/boots are recommended. The 10am start will be staggered, so you should aim to arrive at about 9.45am. Everyone should have arrived back at the Car Park by about 4.30pm where the day’s results will be announced and prizes awarded.
I look forward to seeing plenty of you there!
This event has an entry fee of £1 per head payable on the day.
Unfortunately the car park will cost £5 for the day – payable by card, so share cars if you can.
