In the light of the Government’s roadmap we would like to outline the position with regard to public worship at St Matthew’s.
The roadmap indicates that the “stay at home order” will be in place until at least 29 March, however we have made the decision that, if the indications from the Government are that infection rates and hospital admissions are reducing, we will reopen for public worship on Palm Sunday 28 March.
Our online services will continue, so everyone will have an opportunity to worship during this most holy season.
If the indications are that the “stay at home order” will continue beyond 29 March we will re-evaluate this decision and let you know as soon as possible.
With every good wish,
Fr Andrew, Julia Elfred, Chris Roulston
