St Matthew’s Hall & Garden

The church hall is ideal for Wedding & Baptism celebrations, children’s parties, conferences, social gatherings, stage performances and more. We offer two fantastic event spaces, a patio & garden area, a large kitchen and excellent accessible WC facilities.

When not hosting church events we are proud to be able to share this facility with members of the local community.

It is advisable to check availability well in advance. We have many regular clients running a wide range of clubs and activities throughout the week, with most one-off events taking place at the weekend. We take great pleasure in meeting all our clients and would make you feel very welcome.

Main Hall
Size: 13.8m x 10.9m

A large open space ideal for bigger events and activities, with a raised stage area and three double doors giving access to the patio & garden. Chairs and tables can be provided.

A large room with a kitchenette. Ideal for conferences and smaller events and activities. If you are looking for a more intimate space, this room can can be split to create two smaller rooms. Chairs and tables can be provided.

The kitchen can be hired with either the Main Hall or Parish Room. It is equipped with two sink areas, double oven, six burner hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dish washer, wheelchair friendly work surface and a large serving hatch into the foyer.
