The walking treasure hunt is an all-day team event and is starting this year from the National Trust Car Park on Ranmore Common. View car park on Map
(if you are not a NT member parking is £6, sorry)
The eighth walking treasure hunt for Church members, families and friends is based around the beautiful setting of Ranmore Common and Westhumble, with a brief visit to the vines of Denbies and the grounds of Polesden Lacey! It will be approximately 6 miles of walking and clue hunting with lunch around half distance at The Stepping Stones in Westhumble.
You will be provided with route instructions, written clues, photographic clues and an approximate map to guide you on your way. You will need to bring a writing implement and reasonably stout walking shoes/boots are recommended. The 10am start will be staggered, so you should aim to arrive from about 9.45am. Everyone should have arrived back at the Car Park by about 4.30pm where the day’s results will be announced and prizes awarded.
I look forward to seeing plenty of you there!
This event has an entry fee of £1 per head payable on the day.
I will need to know approx numbers by 14 May, the entry fee is number dependent.
If you would like to take part you can sign-up using this form. If you are a single entrant, do not worry, you will take part within a team! The pub needs to know lunch orders in advance, so please check the menu and let me know what your team would like for lunch.
