Rev. Andrew Cunnington
I have been Vicar at St Matthew’s since 2006 and have now been ordained for 28 years. I am also Area Dean of Reigate. The traditional elements of ministry remain the most precious to me namely, presiding at the Eucharist, preaching and pastoral care; but the desire to make the church relevant in the local community and respond to people’s needs, means my vision of what church adds up to is being widened all the time. I am married with two adult daughters and find refreshment through walking and writing. If you can’t find me around church I am most likely to be found supporting my beloved Sussex cricket team or Seagulls football team.
Rev. Rosemary Webb
I am married with three adult children and seven grandchildren and have been ordained since 2005. I studied for Ordination on the Southwark OLM scheme which enabled me to minister in the Parish I have now been a member of for over thirty years. Before ordination I was a member of the ES Hospital chaplaincy team and an active volunteer for over twenty years with WelCare; as well as being involved in many aspects of church life at St Matthew’s. I would describe myself as a liberal catholic with a great affinity to the early Celtic church.
Rev. Helen Cook
I’ve been the curate at St.Matthew’s since June 2016, having been ordained at Southwark Cathedral. I studied theology for ordained ministry at St. Augustine’s (formally SEITE) college. I love parish ministry and I’m particularly drawn to pastoral care and preaching. I’m married to Andrew and we have two children, the eldest is studying at university and the youngest is at college. I enjoy keeping fit through walking and going to the gym. Andrew and I are also regular visitors to The National Theatre and are members of The Tate.
I have been licensed as a Lay Reader at St. Matthew’s since 2010. My ministry involves preaching, teaching, some pastoral work and lots more! I am married with two grown up children and volunteer for the National Trust. I also work as an Exam Invigilator in a local secondary school. Although I am keen on walking and archaeology, I’m at my happiest with my nose in a good book or listening to 70s prog rock bands.

I was commissioned as a SPA in 2002 and have been helping to care for the people of St Matthew’s ever since. I also help to support people currently in training for this ministry and very much enjoy being Grandma to my 2 young grandchildren.
I was commissioned as SPA at St. Matthew’s in 2010, am married with 3 children and live in Redhill. You can often find me drinking coffee out in local Redhill or Reigate coffee shops, where I will chat about anything, to anyone, so do come over and say Hello!
